Artificial Intelligence
Training models to read the signals that experts read, at a scale no lab can match.
Most of my AI work sits at the boundary with another science: single-particle physics, biomedical signals, urban traffic. The question is always the same. Can we train a network to do what an expert eye does, faster and at a scale no lab can staff? Some of this work won the $500,000 XPRIZE Pandemic Response Challenge.
